Our Treatment Options
Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
ERP is the cornerstone of OCD treatment and is considered the most effective therapeutic approach. It involves gradually and safely exposing you to feared thoughts, images, or situations while helping you resist the urge to engage in compulsions. Over time, ERP helps reduce anxiety and retrain your brain’s response to intrusive thoughts.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps clients identify and challenge distorted thinking patterns that fuel OCD. When combined with ERP, CBT strengthens your ability to manage obsessive thoughts and build healthier cognitive habits.
Acceptence and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT supports clients in developing psychological flexibility by helping them accept unwanted thoughts without judgment and commit to actions aligned with their values. This approach is particularly useful in reducing the struggle with uncertainty and fear that often accompanies OCD.
Mindfulness-Based Interventions
We incorporate mindfulness techniques to increase present-moment awareness and decrease reactivity to intrusive thoughts. This can enhance emotional regulation and support the overall effectiveness of ERP and other therapies.
Family Involvement and Education
When appropriate, we include family members in the treatment process to foster understanding and reduce accommodation behaviors that may unintentionally reinforce OCD cycles. Education and support empower loved ones to be effective allies in recovery. Each treatment plan is tailored to your unique needs, symptoms, and goals. We work collaboratively to ensure that your care is structured, compassionate, and progress-oriented—helping you move forward with greater confidence and freedom.
